All of us feel a responsibility to do something to help save consumption or reduce waste. It is in our nature to get some value out of our efforts.
Well, the first thing you need to do is come up with a list of tasks or projects that are attainable. Then go and prioritize the list of what is most important to you. Don’t start with something so large that it becomes burdensome. That will create undue stress and most of the time these projects never get completed. Start small and build.
As you complete one project, it gives you satisfaction and confidence to tackle another that may be a little more challenging. You will be surprised at how each project builds your stamina and motivation. Here at “GREEN ROCK” we’ve adopted this ritual. We continue to work on new ideas and products both in the field and in the office to help save and reduce consumption and waste.
So, laying the ground work is the base (no pun intended) to start a “Greener Living”.
